This widespread representation across four nations reflects the depth and quality of Hartpury University and Hartpury College’s women’s rugby programme, which continues to play a leading role in developing players capable of competing at the very highest level of the game.

With current students already breaking into senior international squads alongside a growing number of established alumni, Hartpury’s pathway continues to provide a proven route from education and grassroots rugby into elite performance environments.

At the heart of this success is Hartpury’s integrated dual-career pathway, designed to support student-athletes in achieving both academic and sporting excellence. Students benefit from access to expert coaching, strength and conditioning, performance analysis, sports science and medical support, alongside a wide range of academic programmes tailored to fit around training and competition demands.

Opportunities to compete in BUCS, domestic leagues and within Hartpury’s elite performance programmes provide valuable match experience, while strong links with national governing bodies and professional clubs create clear progression routes into international rugby.
